Crystal Strait

Crystal Strait was elected President of the California Young Democrats in 2005, the official youth arm of the California Democratic Party with the goal of mobilizing young people to get other young people to vote. Additionally, she is an Executive Committeemember for the Young Democrats of America.

Strait first moved to Sacramento as a fellow for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Delaine Eastin and subsequently served as Communications Director for Assemblymember Lloyd Levine.
