Matt Jones

Matt Jones was most recently a Senior Associate at Catapult Strategies, a political consulting firm located in San Jose, California. While there he consulted on the successful Sam Liccardo campaign in San Jose City Council District 3, and managed the direct mail campaign for San Jose's Police Officer Association. He also worked on projects for local business interests such as Regional Medical Center, SBC, and Barry Swenson Builders.

Prior to his work at Catapult, Matt was Budget Director for the Steve Westly for Governor campaign, where he also served as a press liaison on campaign finance and ad metrics issues.

Matt has additionally worked on numerous local Silicon Valley campaigns for city council candidates, ballot measures, and community interest organizations.

Having attended UC Berkeley, where he pursued coursework in Mathematics and Political Science, Matt continued his lifelong interest in politics as an Editor-at-Large for the Berkeley Political Review, as well as through his involvement in the Northern California ACLU. He currently resides in Campbell, and enjoys laughing at FOX News in his spare time.
