The Majority Vote
Democrats need at least 27 seats in State Senate to hold a two-thirds majority. After the 2012 election under new maps, they will hold:
Less than two-thirds (26 or less) [ 30.1%
]
Two-thirds exactly (27) [ 37.3%
]
More than two-thirds (28 or more) [ 32.5%
]
