Garry South Talks Newsom, Fiorina, Gay Marriage on NBC

November 24, 2009 @ 12:55 PM

California Majority Report contributor Garry South appeared on KNBC-LA's "News Conference" with political reporter Conan Nolan this weekend.

In the interview, he discussed Gavin Newsom's reasons for dropping out of the gubernatorial race (big state, no base, hard to raise money), Tom Campbell's chances of winning the GOP nomination (none, but he likes him personally), Carly Fiorina's odds of beating Sen. Barbara Boxer (possibly, but it depends on how much of her multi-million severance package from being fired by H-P she's willing to drop), and a number of other current political news. As always, South is full of anecdotes and historical information that makes it worth viewing here.
